Things to keep in mind before and after getting the Covid-19 vaccine

 

What to prepare before Covid-19 vaccination?

1. The papers are complete
Please prepare important identification documents including an Identity card, health insurance card, appointment letter for Covid vaccination.
In addition, if you have had any previous vaccinations, or are being treated for other diseases, as well as a history of drug allergies, etc., please bring your medical examination number / medical examination book for the doctors to examine.

2. Medical declaration
On the day of  Covid vaccination, please wear a mask combined with anti-droplet glasses, complete medical declaration at the injection point.

3. Declare health status at screening stage
Actively declare to medical staff issues related to personal health:

• Current health status.
• Recently used drugs and treatments.
• Personal history of allergy or anaphylaxis to any agent.
• Viral status or Covid-19 infection (if any)
• Vaccines given or taken within the last 14 days.
• Pregnancy or lactation status (if the subject is female and of childbearing age)?

4. Sleep well
This is very important for the immune system to function properly.

 

What should I pay attention to after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine?

1. Add enough water
One of the common symptoms after injection is fever, easily causing dehydration. Injected people need to drink enough water, add orange and lemon juices that contain a lot of vitamins A and C.

2. Follow the instructions of medical staff
As indicated by the medical staff, the  Covid-19 vaccine injected person should stay at the  Covid-19 vaccine injection site for 30 minutes after the injection to monitor their health.

3. Check all documents before leaving
Make sure you do not leave any personal documents at the injection site, especially the Covid-19 vaccination certificate.

4. Some symptoms after vaccination against Covid-19
Common symptoms include pain at the  Covid-19 vaccine injection site, fever, fatigue, headache, chills, muscle pain, joint pain, itching, swelling, redness, restlessness.

5. Limit all types of stimulants
Alcohol, beer, drugs, leaves, coffee, tea, energy drinks ... are stimulants that need to abstain in the first week after Covid-19 vaccination.
