Don’t want to delay the insurance claim process. How Should I Do?

Manulife Critical Illness Care

The most frequent question that the customer asked before buying a life insurance policy is whether it takes longer to progress to claim insurance premiums.

Due to the nature of the claim process, it should take 7 to 10 working days to make sure for approving a life insurance claim called the official claim process. Once confirmed, the insurance compensation will be paid within three days.

Thus why, you must need to follow the steps below; to avoid delay. Then, you don’t have to worry about the question of whether it will take as long as above.

• When you have to claim your life insurance, please notify your insurance advisor or call the insurance company’s customer service hotline.
• Once you have been contacted with your insurance advisor or the customer service, the advisor or the customer service will assist you in completing your claim forms and will guide you on which documents will need priority. You will need to take care of this step to avoid further delays due to incomplete documentation.
• Manulife Myanmar provides various products of life insurance claim applications on our website, so you can download them easily from this link Claim Forms | Services | Manulife Myanmar.
• When you complete your verification process, please submit your completed forms and required documents through your servicing agent or Manulife Myanmar Head Office. Then, your claim process is complete.

What causes the delay in getting insurance compensation?

You may have to check your life insurance policy type, which facts and clauses involve and which part it will cover when you first buy it.

In addition, you will need to fill in the required information correctly when you first apply for the life insurance and if you fill it incorrectly and leave the information blank, which can lead to unnecessary delays in future claims. It creates confusion.

In summary, the insurance claim process is not a long procedure process, and it cannot delay when you meet certain requirements and will be able to submit your application within 7 to 10 days, then the application will be confirmed, and premium compensation will be paid within three days.

In order not to delay your claiming process, you need to fill in the complete information from the beginning of the life insurance purchase and submit your claim applications and documents quickly and completely.

“No worry about the insurance claims process – it doesn’t take a long time.”
